Travel cost claims for hospital appointments
Did you know you may be able to get help with your travel costs for your hospital appointments? You may be able to claim back travel costs if:
- You or your partner receive certain benefits or are eligible for the NHS Low Income Scheme.
- You have a referral for an appointment that a doctor or dentist has referred you to.
Your can claim on the day at the following sites:
- Alnwick
- Berwick
- Blyth
- Hexham
- North Tyneside
- Wansbeck
If your appointment is at the Northumbria Hospital in Cramlington, or you would prefer to claim after your appointment, there is a form to fill out.
