Training Practice

As a training practice there are times when there may be university students present within your consultation. They will spend several weeks with us in order to gain the experience they need to become family doctors. You will be informed if there will a student present before your consultation, and you may opt out of this if you so require.

We are also a Training Practice for GP Registrars – these are qualified doctors who are training to be specialised in General Practice and usually spend 6 months with us.  You may be offered an appointment with a GP registrar as you would any GP within the surgery. At times you may be asked if you would be happy for your consultation to be recorded as part of their training.  At any time you can say no to this.
